This was the first Halloween that we celebrated in our new house! With that in mind, we made the groundwork for 2 multi-holiday decorations that we will reuse for each holiday.

We used picture wire, but any kind of hanger will work to get these hung up on a wall or a door.
For the rest of the year we will be going to the fabric store to pick up cute holiday-themed quilting fabric and making these simple banners. The only expensive part of this project was the curtain rods, which will be reused. The fancy ones were about $15 each and the cheap ones were about $5 each.
